A little sigh left the snake like creature as he sat on the window's ledge and looked out on the night. His yellow eyes scanning the yard of the shop, wishing to catch a glimpse of orange coming up the walk. But, no such sight came. "Meekee" he heard a voice call to him. He turned to look at the raven haired woman who stood looking at him with a knowing glance. "It's time for bed sweetie" Lucretia said in her calm voice, knowing of the protest about to come. "But I want to wait for Ra..." the young pipe fox said turning his gaze back out the window. "It might be a while before he comes back Meekee..." the chimera said, her expression softening a little when as she watched Mekee's ears droop down slowly. "He promised though... he said he'd be back in an hour.. it's been.... ...h..how many hours are in four days??" Meekee said turning to look to Lucretia "Enough..." Lucretia replied, answering the how many hours inquiry with a gentle sigh. "More than enough. Come on, you'll need your rest to help me with the shop tomorrow, remember what Ra said?" Lucretia said and walked to look out the window the pipe fox was perched in. "Yes miss... he said to help you and be good..." Meekee replied and Lucretia nodded. "He promised...." Meekee squeaked out. "Life isn't fair sometimes Meekee... but.. how about this, the next time he calls, I'll let you talk to him. How does that sound?" Lucretia offered "O..Ohkay..." Meekee said then finally allowed himself to be lead away to sleep.
